1. Who we are

Buildwise Media LLC ("Buildwise Media," "we," "us") operates buildwisemedia.com and provides marketing operations services to client businesses. We're based in Atlanta, Georgia. Our company contact email is hello@buildwisemedia.com.

2. What we collect

When you visit buildwisemedia.com we collect:

Usage data — pages visited, referrer, device type, approximate location (city/region from IP), interaction events. Collected via Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Clarity.
Advertising data — when you click an ad, basic conversion signals are collected via Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure campaign effectiveness.
Form data — when you book a discovery call or send us a message through our contact form, we collect the information you provide (name, email, mobile phone number, and business details). Booking is processed by Cal.com, our scheduling sub-processor.
Text messaging data — when you use our SMS consent form or text our business number, we collect your mobile number, opt-in or opt-out status, consent record, message content, attachments or voice notes you send, delivery records, and related project-routing information.
Cookies — first-party cookies for attribution (`_bwm_attribution`) and third-party cookies set by the analytics tools above.

3. Sub-processors

We share limited data with the following sub-processors strictly to operate the website and conduct outreach:

Google LLC (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager) — analytics infrastructure
Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Clarity) — session replay and heatmap analytics
Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API) — advertising attribution
Cloudflare, Inc. — content delivery, hosting, DDoS protection
Cal.com, Inc. — appointment scheduling on book.buildwisemedia.com
Resend, Inc. — transactional email delivery for booking confirmations
Supabase, Inc. — backend data storage for CRM and operational logs
Twilio Inc. and telecommunications carriers — SMS and MMS transport, delivery, and messaging compliance
Anthropic, PBC (Claude API) — AI-assisted content production internal to BWM operations

Each sub-processor is contractually obligated to protect data per its own privacy policy and applicable data protection law.

4. How we use it

We use the data above to: operate and improve the website; measure campaign performance; respond to discovery-call requests; provide authorized client support and project updates by text; keep consent and delivery records; protect the messaging channel; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data, ever.

5. Text messaging privacy

We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from the other data-sharing categories in this policy and will not be shared with third parties. Service providers acting only on our behalf may process text messaging data as needed to operate messaging, compliance, security, storage, transcription, or customer support; they may not use it for their own marketing or promotional purposes. SMS consent is specific to Buildwise Media and is not transferable to another business.

The Buildwise Media client-support messaging program sends recurring one-to-one customer-care and project-status SMS/MMS messages to invited clients who opt in. Message frequency varies. 6. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA)

If you're in the EU/UK or California, you have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@buildwisemedia.com with the subject line "Data Request." We respond within 30 days.

You can opt out of analytics tracking at any time using a browser-level Do Not Track setting or by clearing cookies for this site.

7. Retention

Analytics data is retained for 14 months (Google Analytics default). Form submissions and discovery-call records are retained for 7 years to satisfy financial-record-keeping obligations. You can request earlier deletion via the contact above.

We retain text messaging consent, opt-out, and delivery records as long as reasonably needed to operate the program, honor consent choices, resolve disputes, and meet legal or carrier requirements. Message content, attachments, voice notes, and project-routing records are retained according to the applicable client agreement and our operational, security, and legal needs. You may request deletion, subject to legal, contractual, security, and opt-out-record exceptions.

8. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our data practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
