The math, with every assumption named.
This is the spouse-math one-pager. If a number appears anywhere on this site, it either lives on this page with its source and evidence class — or it doesn’t ship. Confidence Floor: 75%. Baselines captured before any claim is published.
Cost in, over the first quarter.
One-time Engine Build at signup. Then month-to-month operations. $1,000 of each month’s total is included ad spend — you fund your own media account, we manage against it. No management fee is applied to ad spend.

Three phases. One operating layer.
This is not a “launch and pray” timeline. Every phase has a captured-baseline milestone before it clears. If a number drifts, the audit catches it on Monday morning — before the month does.
Break-even is one closed job, for most of the service businesses we install.
Back-of-envelope, spouse-readable. Take your average job value. Multiply by your current close rate. Divide the first quarter total by that. That’s how many net new qualified leads the operations layer has to bring in for the install to pay for itself.
| Average job value | Close rate | Effective value per qualified lead | Break-even jobs (Q1) | Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | 25% | $1,250 / lead | ~5 jobs | benchmark · cohort |
| $15,000 | 25% | $3,750 / lead | ~2 jobs | benchmark · cohort |
| $35,000 | 25% | $8,750 / lead | <1 job | benchmark · cohort |
Numbers here are benchmark — sourced from first-cohort retention + close-rate averages. Your number is whatever your current operation actually does. We capture that as the baseline before any growth claim ships. This is the Confidence Floor in practice: we’d rather show conservative math than aspirational math.
Four evidence classes. Every claim carries one.
| Class | What it means | Example |
|---|---|---|
| measured | Live number pulled from our operations layer or a signed contract. Reproducible in minutes. | Pre-ship checklist score. Ascend price. Connector audit status. |
| attributed | Revenue or leads tied to a specific campaign via UTM + first-touch / last-touch attribution in our event stream. | “Meta campaign X produced N qualified leads in week Y.” |
| modeled | Projection based on captured baseline + known inputs. Always clearly labeled as a projection. | “At current rate, quarterly pipeline would hit $X.” |
| benchmark | Industry-level or first-cohort average. Useful for “break-even” math before your baseline is captured. | Close-rate ranges. Cost-per-lead ranges by vertical. |
If a number on this site is not one of these four classes, it’s a typo. The site-wide closer band at the bottom of every page is the policy: every claim is verifiable. Ask your current agency to show you theirs.
